Our radiologists use their expertise to interpret CT scans of your body, diagnosing problems such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, trauma and musculoskeletal disorders, possibly eliminating the need for exploratory surgery.

The CT scanning area is large and airy, helping put patients at ease.
CT imaging uses special x-ray equipment to produce multiple images of the inside of the body. A computer then joins those images together to produce a detailed overall image of the area. The images can then be examined on a computer monitor or printed.

CT scans are also ideal for patients who have implanted medical devices, such as a pacemaker, and cannot undergo an MRI scan.

The results of your scan will be returned to your physician quickly, allowing your doctor to set up a treatment program that can lead to a speedy recovery and getting you back to doing the activities you love best.

Should there be the need for a biopsy, Vision Imaging offers “CT-guided biopsy,” a procedure by which the radiologist uses a very thin needle and syringe to withdraw tissue or fluid specimens. The CT scan is used to provide a “roadmap” for the radiologist to perform the biopsy on the appropriate area of the body.
